We are a youth-led not for profit organization in Uganda. Usawa Health Initiative is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to improving lives across Uganda by addressing critical challenges in health and social equity.
Usawa Health Initiative operates at the intersection of advocacy, education, and community action. We work tirelessly to support those most affected by systemic inequalities, delivering impactful programs that foster resilience and opportunity.
We believe in the power of collaboration. We partner with local communities, stakeholders, and supporters worldwide to amplify our impact. Our name, “Usawa,” meaning “equality” in Swahili, reflects our core value: ensuring that all individuals have equal access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
